Inventory Workshop 1

 

Target group:

Persons responsible for editing, managing and reporting of data which belong to the LCPs at all Beneficiaries and other relevant public institutions, especially the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation, as well as industrialists (at least 40 participants)

Scope of the workshop:

Information supply to workshop participants about possibilities to acquire available data, as well as handling missing, uncertain or unreliable data. Furthermore explanations of the air related environmental legal framework for LCPs in the EU and Turkey, instructions and clarifications for the LCP Questionnaire that will be used for the development of the LCP Inventory and the carrying out of the Regulatory Impact Assessment.

Inventory Workshop 2

 

Target group:

Persons responsible for editing, managing and reporting of data which belong to the LCPs at all Beneficiaries and other relevant public institutions, especially the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation, as well as industrialists (at least 40 participants)

Scope of the workshop:

Familiarisation with the LCP database system; editing and managing data, reporting, importing and exporting of datasets as well as handling figures, graphs and so on.

Development of coordination and cooperation among stakeholders for RIA preparation. Evaluation and discussion of progress achieved since Inventory Workshop 1.

Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) Workshop 1

 

Target group:

Responsible persons for LCPs at the Beneficiaries, especially in the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation, as well as other institutions, industrialists, universities and NGOs (at least 60 participants)

Scope of the workshop:

Information supply about LCP findings to date; explanation of the RIA process; reflection on opinions of participants for the assessment of findings.

Inventory Workshop 3

 

Target group:

Representatives of all project Beneficiaries responsible for the implementation of the LCPD (at least 20 participants)

Scope of the workshop:

State of affairs in all Beneficiary organisations defining minimum requirements in order to come up with best advice about the capacities required. Representatives inform the Consultant about all necessary information including staff numbers and their qualities, organisational structures, coordination and cooperation mechanisms, operational agreements, policies, and others.

Study Tour 1

 

Target group:

Persons involved in the implementation of the project and the representing personnel of all Beneficiaries, mostly in the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation (10 participants)

Scope of the tour:

Tour to a country that has been an EU member since 2000 and successfully implemented the LCP Directive, now applying it for more than 5 years. The to be selected country should furthermore have regularly reported its emissions inventory, containing emission values of LCPs, to the E-PRTR via Report.net over the past two years. Participants should visit authorities responsible for LCPD/IED implementation and, if available, cleaner production centres and organisations carrying out practical activities in this field. The findings of the tour will feed into the further preparations of the Regulatory Impact Assessment Report.

Target group:
